Romain contacted me to solve a problem he was experiencing with the Thrives Leads plugin. After deactivating/reactivating the plugin, he could no longer view, edit or configure his leads in the WordPress back-office, and configured leads weren’t appearing in the front-end.
He had already contacted the plugin’s official support team and given them access to the back-office, but they couldn’t solve his problem and blocked his website for a day, disabling all extensions and themes in production and trying to reinstall their plugin! After this disastrous intervention, they left Romain in the lurch, and he had to reinstall his website all by himself…
After installing a copy of the site on a separate server, I managed to identify the problem: there were tables missing from the database, and the plugin had no security measures in place to reinstall them. So I carefully cleaned the database of all data relating to the affected plugin and was able to reinstall the plugin cleanly. Romain can now use Thrives Leads without any problems and customize its content 😊
