Pricing
Updatronix is funded by its community.
The price will change: it increases as key features are added. The current model is not subscription-based; no subscription plan is planned at this stage. Founders who purchase licenses at the introductory rate keep access to all future updates.
Each Updatronix 3000 license is sold at the price in effect at the time of purchase. A license purchased at the current rate (including the introductory rate) grants access to all future updates for life, just like any other license.
Buying early does not reduce the price of licenses purchased later: each purchase is made at the current price.
Support
For most professional plugins, the biggest recurring cost is support. The subscription model often exists to fund these support tickets, sometimes even for free users.
Subscriptions are not favored in the current model. The majority of pro users do not need dedicated support: the documentation and the WordPress.org forum are enough. Therefore, at this stage, the choice is to pay for usage and access.
Standard support: all support requests (free and pro versions) go through community tools, in the free and community-driven spirit of WordPress. As long as this non-premium support remains sufficient and the workload remains manageable, this approach helps keep prices affordable without a subscription.

Yes. Updatronix 3000 builds on the free Updatronix, which remains the foundation and works on its own. The 3000 version adds its features on top, without taking anything away from the free version.
Update Shield checks compatibility with your WordPress and PHP versions before every automatic update. If an update isn’t compatible, it’s cancelled, automatic updates for that item are disabled, and the technical manager is notified by email. Protection also covers version-controlled items (git…) and flags abandoned plugins: you never update blindly.
A stuck update can leave your database in an inconsistent state. The Updatronix 3000 queue chains automatic updates cleanly, one after another, instead of forcing the server to process everything at once. Less memory used, fewer timeouts, fewer disk write errors—and a much better success rate on plugin-heavy sites.

Very helpful plugin
In the default view, the Update Log displays a very clear list of recent update activities. If desired, you can view a great deal of detail about each individual activity.
I also find the auto-updates view very well-designed. It’s much clearer than the standard plugin list, and you can configure updates quickly and easily.
I don’t use the Schedule feature at the moment, but I think it could be very useful for some admins.
I have all email notifications activated so I’m always up to date without having to visit each website explicitly.

PS: A little feature request: when a plugin receives a major release, I’d like to skip the major release and automatically install the next minor release first. Lightweight and convenient
This simple plugin solve my problem of having unwanted updates, both for plugins and for WordPress.
And with the logs I can keep track of what is updated and when, this is quite important to clarify some workflow.
